Hidden in a Small Town isn’t like most suspense books I’ve read in the past, but that being said it kept me intrigued until the end a worthwhile read.

Slater suffers with visions, ones he thought had long since passed but he’s sadly mistaken when they make a reappearance. In turn they push him to take an unexpected road trip, in the hopes of finding the source seeing in the flesh the face he can’t ignore.

Nora is a complex individual, she works in a bar but she also keeps herself to herself, an introvert, void of close friends or family, she is somewhat of an enigma. Although she is strong willed and comes across independent, she is also alone so when Slater a stranger from out of town shows up and edges his way into her life, she can’t help but let him in.

If suspense is not your usual genre but you want to give it a go, I would recommend this book. It’s light suspense with a little romance thrown in too.

Although this is not this authors usual genre of writing, she did well and I look forward to reading more from her in the future.
